University of Florida to use StatMonitr for remainder of 2014

GAINESVILLE, FLA. -- The University of Florida has selected StatBroadcast to provide real-time stats for the working media for its remaining home athletic events in the 2013-14 academic year.

The University of Florida is a public land-grant, sea-grant and space-grant university located in Gainesville. Founded in 1853, Florida is an elite member of the Public Ivy universities and was recently ranked 14th overall amoung public national universities. The Florida Gators compete in the Southeastern Conference of NCAA Division I in 21 varsity sports and has been one of the best overall athletic programs in Division I over the past two decades. The Gators have won 23 SEC All-Sports Trophys, including 2013's having won eight SEC championships during the 2012-13 campaign; Florida has also ranked in the top 10 of the NACDA Director's Cup since the award began in 1993, finishing runner-up four times. In its history, Florida has won 103 national championships including back-to-back in men's basketball in 2006 and 2007 and three in football (most recently in 2008).

With the addition of Florida, all 14 SEC athletic programs now partner with StatBroadcast for their stats delivery technology; the SEC also partners with StatBroadcast for its football, basketball and baseball conference championships.
