University of Missouri adds StatMonitr and StatBroadcast Mobile for 2013-14

COLUMBIA, MO. -- The University of Missouri and StatBroadcast Systems have reached agreement for the school to add StatMonitr media stats services and a mobile stats web application powered by StatBroadcast Mobile for the 2013-14 academic year. The mobile stats app will allow fans of Missouri athletics to follow live action from their mobile devices in real-time worldwide.

The University of Missouri is a public research universited locatedi n Columbia, Missouri, which is situated roughly 70 miles in either direction from St. Louis and Kansas City. With an enrollment of over 34,750 students, Missouri is the largest university in the state and the flagship of the University of Missouri System. The Missouri Tigers are members of the Southeastern Conference of NCAA Division I and compete in 18 varsity sports. The Tigers football program has won 15 conference championships, two non-consensus national titles and apepared in 29 bowls, including four Orange Bowls, two Sugar Bowls, two Cotton Bowls and one Fiesta Bowl. Missouri's softball team has made the WCWS six times, including three straight from 2009 to 2011.

Missouri is the ninth member of the SEC Conference to partner with StatBroadcast. The SEC also partners with StatBroadcast for media stats at its football, women's basketball, men's basketball and baseball championships.
