Oregon State University selects StatMonitr

CORVALLIS, ORE. -- Oregon State University and StatBroadcast Systems reached agreement today to use the StatMonitr media stats system at all remaining home athletic events in 2012-13.

Oregon State University is a public university located in Corvallis, Oregon, and is one of two flagship universities in the Oregon Univeristy system. Founded in 1868 nad with an enrollment of more than 21,000, OSU is one of only two university in the country to be designated a land-grand, sea-grant, space-grant and sun-grant institution. The OSU Beavers are members of the Pac-12 Conference and sponsor 17 varsity sports. The Beaver football team have won five Pac-10/12 championships in their history and appeared in bowl games in five of the last seven years. The mens basketball team has made 16 NCAA tournament appearances, including two appearances in the Final Four. The men's baseball team has won 22 conference championships and has made 13 appearances in the NCAA tournament, leading to four CWS berths, including three consecutive from 2005 to 2007; the Beavers captured back-to-back national titles during that span in 2006 and 2007.
